Write test

YMatrix supports graphical experience database function, and customizes the data writing scale according to business scenarios on the page to experience YMatrix's powerful data writing performance.

Notes!
The performance of the database also depends on the performance of the server, and we recommend using a physical machine to complete the test whenever possible.

Server Minimum configuration is as follows:

1 Preparation

1.1 Login

Enter the IP of the machine where MatrixGate is located (the default is mdw's IP) and port number in the browser:

http://<IP>:8240

After successfully logging in, enter the data flow list page

2 Write test

Select the Write Test module in the Quick Experience section.

2.1 Generate data streams

You can customize the data writing amount and data characteristics based on the business scenario, and the general parameters include 4:

  1. Number of equipment: the number of equipment that reports data, such as the number of all processing machine tools in a workshop in a smart factory scenario.
  2. Number of indicators: the number of indicators uploaded by the device, such as all process indicators collected for a production machine tool in the smart factory scenario.
  3. Collection frequency: The frequency of the indicator upload, such as how often the temperature indicator is uploaded in the smart factory scenario, we can use the average collection frequency of each device indicator.
  4. Timestamp range: Simulate the time range of generated data.

After filling, the page will display "Expected Generated Data". You can adjust the amount of generated data you expect by modifying the above 4 common parameters. At the same time, in order to meet the diversification of business scenario data characteristics, we provide personalized parameter settings, click "Advanced Settings", which contains 4 parameters:

  1. Null value rate: According to the business characteristics, there may be a situation where the uploaded indicator value is empty, just fill in the estimated value.
  2. Random degree: Describe the degree of fluctuation of the magnitude of the index value, the default is medium.
  3. Reporting in out-of-order: According to the business characteristics, data caused by the network environment may not be reported in natural time order. Just fill in the out-of-order proportion based on the business estimate.
  4. Batch reporting: According to the business characteristics, there may be a scenario where the index value is reported in multiple times each time the equipment reports the index value, and just fill in the average batch number.

2.2 Write performance

After starting the test, the data is started to be entered into the database. The page updates the data writing speed and compression every 5 seconds, intuitively displaying the database performance and supporting stopping the writing of data at any time.
