Note!
Before scaling out, ensure that YMatrix of the same version as the current database cluster is installed on the new nodes. You can check the version using theSELECT VERSION ()command.
After clicking the Scale Out button in the upper-right corner of the Cluster Management page, you will enter an instructional page describing the steps, timing, and preparatory tasks for scaling out. This helps you understand what scaling out entails and its potential impact.

Click the Add Node button and enter the identifier (hostname, FQDN, or IP address) of the prepared node into the input field.

Enter the node identifier (hostname, FQDN, or IP address) in the input box at the top-right corner, then click Comfirm.

As shown in the image below, the node has been successfully added. Newly added nodes appear under the primary node. To remove a node, click the delete icon on the right side of the added node.

After successfully adding nodes, click Comfirm to proceed to the path configuration page. On this page, you can define storage paths for the newly added nodes.
Note!
Nodes added via the graphical interface are all data segments. Therefore, you may configure multiple storage paths for each node.

After setting the paths, click Comfirm to go to the scale-out mode selection page. Two modes are supported: Redistribution and Smooth Expansion.

After selecting the scale-out mode, click Comfirm to enter the execution page. This page displays information about the ongoing scale-out process.

Click the Submit button in the lower-right corner to start the node addition process. Upon completion, a confirmation message appears.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed a cluster scale-out operation.
Note!
The Scale Out button on the Cluster Management page is disabled while a data redistribution task is in progress.
