TPC-H is a decision support benchmark that consists of a suite of business-oriented ad-hoc queries and concurrent data modification operations. Both the selected queries and the underlying data have broad industry relevance. This benchmark demonstrates the capabilities of decision support systems to examine large volumes of data, execute highly complex queries, and answer critical business questions—while reflecting the multifaceted query-processing strengths of database systems.
This test compares the performance of YMatrix, CloudBerry, and Greenplum under TPC-H analytical query workloads.
The results show that, at the 1TB scale, YMatrix delivers 13.5× better performance than CloudBerry and 10.1× better performance than Greenplum.

YMatrix, Greenplum, and CloudBerry were deployed on identically configured hosts:
| VM 1 | VM 2 | VM 3 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| CPU | 32 cores | 32 cores | 32 cores |
| Memory | 128 GB | 128 GB | 128 GB |
| Storage | 1 × SSD | 4 × SSD | 4 × SSD |
| Segment Nodes | — | 4 Primary (4P) | 4 Primary (4P) |
Note: The cluster uses 2 segment hosts (VM2 & VM3), each running 2 primary segments (total 4P).
| Component | YMatrix | CloudBerry | Greenplum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cluster Topology | 1 Master + 2 Segments | 1 Master + 2 Segments | 1 Master + 2 Segments |
| Version | 6.5.0 | 2.0.0 (Community Edition) | 7.3.1 |
| Configuration | orca + runtimefilter=off + statement_mem=1GB |

| Storage Engine | MARS3 | AOCO | AOCO |
| Data Type | FLOAT | NUMERIC | FLOAT |
The table below shows the execution latency (in seconds) for all 22 TPC-H queries.
The columns CloudBerry / YMatrix and Greenplum / YMatrix represent the slowdown ratio—i.e., how many times slower CloudBerry or Greenplum is compared to YMatrix. Higher values indicate superior performance by YMatrix.
| Query | YMatrix (s) | CloudBerry (s) | Greenplum (s) | CloudBerry / YMatrix | Greenplum / YMatrix |
