Note!
This operation must be performed after the database deployment is complete and mirroring has not yet been enabled.
Log in to the UI and navigate to the "Cluster" page. Click the "Actions" button in the upper-right corner, then select "Enable mirror" to enter the mirroring setup homepage.

Note!
The "Enable Mirror" button will not appear if mirror instances already exist in the cluster.
Read the instructions carefully. After confirming that you wish to proceed, click "I acknowledge", then click the "Begin" button to begin the process.

Displays the current physical machine cluster topology, including blank machines. A blank machine refers to a host that was added during deployment but has no data segment instance assigned. Confirm the information is correct, then click "Next".

Shows the default planned topology for mirror segments.

Click "Advanced Options" to enable "Customize mirror disterbution " placement. This displays the current default mirror segment configuration file.

The configuration file uses CSV format with four columns: Content ID, hostname, port number, and data directory of the mirror segment.

After modifying the configuration, click "Comfirm" to regenerate the plan. The preview will now show the customized mirror topology.

After finalizing the mirror layout, click "Execute" to start applying the mirroring plan.

The execution may take a considerable amount of time. You can leave the mirroring setup page and use other features during this period. A progress banner will appear at the top of the page while the task runs.
Click "Details" to return to the mirroring execution page.

After the mirroring process completes successfully, click "Done" to exit the setup.

Go to the "Cluster" page and switch to "Instance" view. The new mirror segment topology will be visible in the cluster diagram.

For enabling mirrors using the
mxaddmirrorstool, refer to the Tools Guide.
